I don't remember a single thing about my weekend. Not sure why - it was a total blur!!! The only thing I remember is a date with my son, Lincoln. My husband, Lincoln, and I went to Shane's Rib Shack and went driving around taking Lincoln to the pet store, toy store, and electronic store.
Let me let you in on a secret about Lincoln - he's very loving and affectionate (he loves his hugs/kisses and loves to give them). He's an EXTREMELY friendly toddler (sometimes too friendly to strangers). However, he is very bi-polar (I've come to that conclusion - LOL - no doctors need to tell me that). He's also a cry-baby (the moment we brought him home from the hospital he has been a cry baby about EVERYTHING). He also gets bullied by his younger brother Rhynan and can't stand up for himself. Lincoln is a real wimp and needs to "man-up". I know he's just a 3 year old, but this boy got no guts whatsoever! LOL And lastly, he wants everything to be his way or it's the highway to "cry baby" land!!! >,...,<
But, my husband and I thought it would be really nice for us to spend some 1 on 1 time with Lincoln and get to allow him to have our full attention. So we did, it was really nice to see a calmer Lincoln (still kinda A D D, but calm). He didn't eat much at Shane's (he isn't much of an eater). The food was really good, BUT not for the price we paid! A full rack of ribs = $18 T_T SERIOUSLY!! but anywho, here's pictures of us at Shane's:
Then we went over to Petsmart to look at the animals there. Lincoln was so fascinated by the cats and the hamsters/gerbel/rats. There weren't any puppies - so he was a tad bit sad.
Afterwards, we headed on to Toys R Us. We browsed EVERYTHING Disney's Cars and Disney's Toys Story!!!! He was such a trooper, we'd let him play with it and he'd ask if we could get it for him, but we'd always say "not this time, maybe next time." So he'd put the toy away nicely back where it belonged. LOL He was so cute. We had fun there and I know he did!
And lastly we went to Tiger Direct electronics. We went to check out a laptop for my husband. And that was it. Nothing interesting there LOL

wow that is a really sweet idea, to take him on a date, just the three of you. you two are such good parents, as im sure you know! lol i bet he will remember that for a long time

Aww, You know I love all your kids but Lincoln does have my heart the most because he's so loving! Aww, Just wanna hug and squeeze his little scrawny self! hahaha. You and Leng are such good parents. I need to write down these tips for whenever I have kids. Tip # 45843054 Take child out for a one on one date. hehehe...
Oh and yea Shane's ribshack is crazy expensive! For such a small little pub, they sure are pricey.

Aww, how sweet! I'm sure Lincoln must of felt so super special! I love the pictures. You're so funny about him being a wimp. I think he is super adorable. I want my boy to be a wimp too, but Vang blood don't flow that way. haha
